1. Scope
These terms cover this website and any proposal that references them. A signed statement of work always takes precedence where the two disagree.
2. Quotes and payment
Fixed prices are valid for thirty days. Projects are invoiced in three parts: on signature, at design approval and on handover. Invoices are due within fourteen days.
3. Changes to scope
Anything outside the agreed brief is quoted separately before it is started. We will never do extra work and invoice for it as a surprise.
4. Intellectual property
On final payment, all design files, source code and assets created for you become yours outright. We keep the right to show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
5. Third-party services
Fonts, hosting, plugins and licences bought on your behalf remain subject to their own terms, which we will list before purchase.
6. Liability
Our liability for any project is limited to the fees paid for it. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot legally be limited.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
